Waterman Suite at Tides Inn

The Tides Inn was perfect for our 1 night stay in Colonial Beach. Parking was easy, a spot reserved right on the side of the house. The Air b and B was clean and so beautifully quaint! Our room was perfect for 2 and the bed was comfortable. In a great location, just a short walk to the beach.

This is a very clean little B&B. It was nice having the coffee shop & brewery right next door! So close to the river & beach as well. The one downside was the parking, as well as no seating in the room we stayed in. I would recommend staying here and would stay again.

A very lovely quiet, clean charming place. and it was a very comfortable bed. Everything smelled nice. Would definitely stay again. It was also set up in a way that you could just wing it yourself. Plenty of extras if you need in the hall.

Felt like staying in your aunts house without the family. Very private. We saw no one the entire time. We loved the antique bed, very plush and comfortable! We walked to dinner and the beach easily. Enjoyed jazz at the brewery next door. Had coffee on front porch.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Tides Inn. The building looks like it's been preserved as well as possible while bringing more modern amenities to the rooms. The only suggestions I have would be that it was warm/humid in the room during the day and if possible (not sure if this even exists, lol) but something to keep the shower curtains from touching you while in the cast iron tub/shower. Not sure if the being warm is due to the intensity of the heat the day we checked in (temp was better, even got a lil chilly once sun went down) and the building being more historic, or if the ac needs a tune-up. Something to be aware of if you're sensitive to the heat/humidity. Would book again though, the room was so cute! I would also suggest (if this info is known, and the pictures are of local people/places) to offer some info on the pictures on the walls, they were interesting!
